The hunger for new Bluey is fierce. Thankfully, new episodes of the Peabody Award-winning animated phenomenon have arrived. Well, they’re more mini-episodes. Specifically, creator Ludo Studio has dubbed them “minisodes.” And they’re definitely small — but so, so mighty.
These Bluey inisodes bring audiences back into the world of the Heeler family, giving fans new stories, funny life lessons and more Aussie-accented quips from Bluey, her sister Bingo, their dad Bandit and mother Chilli.
Disney announced the Bluey minisodes in May, with 20 short episodes set to drop throughout the year. Each one clocks in at roughly one to three minutes in length, making for a surprisingly easy weekend binge. Your kiddo, like mine, may play them all on repeat throughout the day, making for screen time that can be fun for the whole family.
Bluey first premiered to TV in 2018. The series was created by Joe Brumm and is produced by Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios Kids & Family. Thanks to a broadcasting deal with Disney Branded Television, the hit animated series streams to US and global viewers — who reside outside of Australia, New Zealand and China — on the Disney Channel, Disney Jr. and Disney Plus.
