Coming across a Ranger Journal or Journal Page for the first time in Return to Moria is pretty exciting. You’ll notice that the item description for these pages specify where they came from. This is because there are in fact many journals dotted around Moria, and their pages, ripped aside and lost to the phantom winds, can be found in the same areas.
A Ranger Journal will be missing a select number of pages from it, and you have to restore it by finding the pages for that area. There are much more Journal Pages for each Ranger Journal than you need, so don’t worry about not being able to find that final page, as there are much more than you need floating around.
Ranger Journals can be found in little dilapidated campsites. You can tell one is nearby in the same cavern by small green stones that will line the floor. Keep searching the area specified by the Journal Pages and you’ll some across the journal.
