Not quite sure how to play Sol’s RNG? It’s an oddly in-depth game, which you wouldn’t expect when you first log in! In this guide, I go over the main mechanics that you’ll be using in-game.
Sol’s RNG is a unique Roblox game that is still in development. This means that further content may be added in future updates, but for now, the main goal in the game is to obtain as many auras as possible! You have unlimited rolls, and you can also craft items to increase your overall luck. In short, the endgame is being able to flex the rarest and coolest auras around!
Hopefully this guide can help you wrap your head around the game – visit the Sol’s RNG Roblox page to play. Have a nosey at our Sol’s RNG Craftable Item Tier List too!
How to Play Sol’s RNG
Sol’s RNG may seem extremely simple at first, but it’s actually got quite a bit of depth to it once you get stuck in. In its simplest form, Sol’s RNG is a game that requires you to roll for auras. Every aura has its own rarity, with some being extraordinarily uncommon. There are plenty of ways to increase your ‘luck’ though, which I’ll discuss further down in this guide!
Rolling
When you load up the game, you’ll spot the ‘Roll’ button at the bottom. This is the main mechanic in the game when trying to roll for certain auras! You have infinite rolls, but every 10 rolls grants you a 2x luck boost for a singular roll. To the left of the roll button, you can see the ‘Auto Roll” option, which is unlocked once you accumulate a total of 5,000 rolls.
The ‘Quick Roll’ option on the right side can be unlocked via the gamepass. I suggest sticking to unlocking the Auto Roll option! As you roll, you have the option to equip or skip the aura. Choosing to equip the aura will add it to your storage.
Storage
Your auras are kept in the storage, which you can find by clicking the first button in the column on the left side of the screen. Your inventory space has a limit, but this can be increased by spending coins (more on that later!).
You can keep your favourite auras in your storage, but it’s also a useful feature when collecting specific auras for crafting recipes. I recommend using the auras you need for recipes straight away though, as this clears up some space in your inventory and lets you know how many more you need for the crafted item.
Coins
As I mentioned in the section above, coins can be used to upgrade your inventory space. You earn coins by completing achievements in this game! The unlockable achievements are found by clicking the button with a star icon in the column on the left side of the screen. You can keep track of your progress for each one and click the green button to claim the coins when you complete them.
Crafting
This is where the true gameplay begins! Rolling for auras isn’t all about getting the best ones all the time. Sometimes, you need specific ones for crafting recipes. Understandably, the more powerful items require rarer auras. This means you need to roll quite a bit when working towards craftable items. You never know, you might get a cool aura while doing it!
I suggest adding an aura to a recipe as soon as you obtain it, as this helps to clear your inventory. Once you have all of the auras/materials a recipe requires, you can craft it! If you’d like to learn more about the feature, I made a complete Sol’s RNG Crafting guide that goes into more detail about the craftable items.
Exclusive Auras
If there are particular auras that you want for your character, it’s best to check if they only spawn in unique biomes. Every type of biome has a chance to appear, and some auras will only drop while a biome is active. However, this is where the Sol’s RNG Breakthrough feature comes in! This allows you to obtain exclusive auras in any biome no matter which one is currently available.
