When you first open up Remy’s restaurant branch on Eternity Isle, he mentions making a strawberry cake, but never actually gives you the recipe for it despite giving him strawberries to make it. If you feel a little cheated by not making the cake, here’s how to make Strawberry Shortcake in Disney Dreamlight Valley yourself.
Strawberry Shortcake recipe and ingredients guide for Disney Dreamlight Valley
To make Strawberry Shortcake, assuming you have the Rift in Time DLC already, you need three ingredients, with one of each going into the pot:
- A strawberry, as you’d expect. You can find them on bushes all over Eternity Isle, but especially in The Docks and Ancient’s Landing.
- A carton of eggs, purchased from inside Remy’s restaurant on the back shelf.
- Wheat, bought from Goofy’s Stall in Peaceful Meadow or Eternity Isle in seed or plant form.
And that’s how to make Strawberry Shortcake in Disney Dreamlight Valley! Strawberry Shortcake is one of the easiest cake recipes in the game. There’s no sugarcane, butter, or milk needed, as is typically the case with cake recipes. We could’ve easily made this for Remy.

Strawberry Shortcake sells for a base price of 342 coins and is a three-star recipe. With the eggs being an ingredient you cannot obtain without purchasing, this makes for a net profit of 122 coins. Strawberry Shortcake is much more profitable in energy consumption. It gives you 2,118 energy per slice. It can also be used in serving up to Villagers when ordered in Remy’s restaurant, or gifted to Villagers when it shows up as one of their favorite things of the day. As Minnie Mouse and Stitch favor dessert meals showing up as their favorite things of the day, chances are Strawberry Shortcake will come up at some point.
