Steamed Fish is one of the easier and more convenient recipes to craft in Fae Farm, and we’ll tell you how to make it.
There are a wide variety of meals that you can prepare in the game to restore your stamina and, in some cases, provide some useful temporary bonuses. Steamed Fish restores 50 Energy and requires two ingredients that are relatively easy to acquire. You’ll also need to prepare five of them for the main quest “A Watery Wonder” which you’ll acquire once you reach the bottom of Saltwater Mines.
How to get the Steamed Fish recipe
To be able to cook Steamed Fish, you’ll first need to craft a Cooking Hearth. This requires the following materials:
- 2 Beech Lumber
- 3 Stone Brick
- 3 Clay Brick
- 2 Copper Ingot

In terms of how to make Steamed Fish if Fae Farm, it needs the following ingredients:
- 1 Fish Fillet
- 2 Fresh Greens
These aren’t ingredients that you can gather just by adventuring, you’ll first need to prepare them using a Food Prep Table, which needs 1 Beech Lumber, 1 Copper Ingot, 2 Stone Brick, and 1 Oak Lumber to craft. Note that you’ll need to upgrade your Axe to at least a Copper Axe in order to chop down the larger trees to gain the Oak Logs necessary to make Oak Lumber at a Lumber Station.
Any fish can be used to make Fish Fillet. The larger and rarer the fish you use, the more fillets you’ll receive.
Arugula can be used to prepare Fresh Greens, with 1 Arugula yielding 2 Fresh Greens, the number you’ll need for one Steamed Fish dish.
Once you have these ingredients, you’ll be able to craft Steamed Fish.
