How To Get The Watermelon In Secret Staycation

While the Watermelon is visible as soon as you start the game, it’ll take some work before you can reach it. You’ll need to bring the right food and complete a tricky platforming test first. The following steps will guide you through the process:

  • Switch to a small food with a high jump. Caviar is ideal for this, but if you don’t have it yet you can use the Cherry Tomato instead.
  • From the starting location, turn back and go past the sink. You should see the Watermelon atop the cupboard opposite. Drop down and walk over to the vacuum cleaner at the base of the cupboard.
  • Next you’ll need to walk up the vacuum cleaner. This is the hardest part of unlocking the Watermelon, and requires a steady hand. Make sure you move only in one direction, and adjust that as little as possible during the climb.
  • Once up, walk over onto the suitcase and up the wooden planks. Get to the highest point possible, and jump straight up. This should give you the height you need to get on top of the cupboard.
  • Once you’ve conquered the cupboard, simply approach the Watermelon to add it to your food collection.

As mentioned above, the Watermelon is a huge food, and a heavy one too. It’s great for pushing open the door to the bathroom corridor, but not so good at platforming.
