As players are progressing through Baldur’s Gate 3, there will be many pieces of equipment and weapons to find, but if you’re looking for something for your Barbarian, the Bonespike set is what you need. Although this armor set is available for any class, unique effects are revealed only on the body of the mighty berserker in a fit of rage. This set includes four items and gives a lot of bonuses, from temporary hit points and reducing incoming damage to ignoring some enemy resists.
To get the Bonespike Boots and Garb in Baldur’s Gate 3, players must visit Rivington, but first, we recommend focusing your search on Gloves and Helmet. To do this, you must get to Act 3 and go down to the Sewers of Baldur’s Gate City, which we will guide you to in this article.
Baldur’s Gate 3: Characters You Should Not Kill
Player decisions in Baldur’s Gate 3 have a lot of power and can determine the fate of certain characters. The following should be kept alive.
Where To Find Bonespike Helmet in BG3
To get Bonespike Helmet in Baldur’s Gate 3, players must go to the Sewers of Baldur’s Gate City and get to Undercity Ruins. The entrance to this location is in the central part of the northern border of Sewers, but getting to it is not so easy. Underground locations are full of dangers, which can lead to many difficulties, but you can simplify the task by choosing the optimal entrance into the sewer. In this case, you should head to the hatch northwest of The Blushing Mermaid. This hatch is at the corner of The Glitter Gala store, and going through it will take you to the entrance to Undercity Ruins.
Upon entering Undercity Ruins and walking forward a little, players will almost immediately notice a fast travel portal to the left of the main path. Next to the portal is Voiceless Penitent Bareki NPC, a merchant who will sell you the desired piece of armor. The Bonespike Helmet costs only 866 Gold, so the cost is unlikely to be an issue by the time you reach Act 3. Equipping this item will give you the following bonuses:
- Intimidation +2
- Menacing attack (melee attack): Using this skill, you attack an enemy with melee weapons, dealing weapon damage +1d8 Physical damage, and can Frighten them. The frightened enemy cannot move and receives a Disadvantage on ability checks/attack rolls for 1 turn.
- Fury in the Marrow (passive skill): When you enter Rage, all enemies within 3 meters should succeed in Wisdom Saving Throw. On a failed save, the enemy takes 2d4 Psychic damage, or half as much damage on a successful.

Players will come across several groups of people and organizations throughout their travels in Baldur’s Gate 3. Here’s how they stack up.
Where To Find Bonespike Gloves in BG3
As for Bonespike Gloves, you can also find this item in Undercity Ruins, but you will have to go a little further. More precisely, you should approach the locked door on the other side of the corridor opposite the Voiceless Penitent Bareki. As you approach the door, you will see corpses hanging from the ceiling, which you need to shoot with a long-range attack. As soon as blood starts dripping from them, the door will open, and you can move on. You’ll encounter several bandits who are relatively difficult to hit, but using area of effect spells like Fireball will quickly overcome this obstacle.
Walking further along the corridors, you will be attacked by a bandit named Strangler Luke, who you will need to kill and loot to get Bonespike Gloves. If you hesitate, his corpse will disappear, and you will forever lose this piece of equipment. However, if you manage to pick up these gloves, you will receive the following bonus:
- Exoskeletal Reinforcement (passive skill): All your attacks ignore Resistance to Slashing, Piercing, and Bludgeoning damage.
