How To Farm Volcano Pot Fast

While weapons, equipment, and skills create the overall essence of your build, using consumables allows you to make some adjustments to your strategy. One such consumable in Elden Ring is the Volcano Pot, an excellent weapon against the undead and many other enemies. Volcano Pots are one of the most universal pots, as they scale with Strength and Dexterity. In addition, they deal damage over time and do not consume FP, which makes them even more attractive.

Another reason why Volcano Pots are so good is that they use endless Cracked Pots to create them. But to achieve maximum efficiency in the production of this consumable, you should know where to look for Volcanic Stone.

How To Farm Volcano Pot in Elden Ring

Nomadic Merchant in Elden Ring

If you’re new to Elden Ring and haven’t created a Volcano Pot, you’ll want to start with the basics. And the first thing you should focus on is finding a recipe you can buy from a merchant. More specifically, you should go to the northernmost part of the Altus Plateau and buy the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook [20] from the Nomadic Merchant (Mt. Gelmir) for 3,000 Runes. Take Minor Erdtree (Mt Gelmir) as a starting point and head a little northeast to find the merchant you need.

Once you receive the recipe, you will be able to craft Volcano Pot using the following materials:

  • x2 Volcanic Stone
  • x1 Empty Cracked Pot

The good news is that Empty Cracked Pot is a never-ending ingredient. You can find these in the wild or buy them from various merchants around the game world, and we have a great guide on how to collect them all. Their infinity lies in the fact that after creating some consumables and using them in battle, the Empty Cracked Pot will return to your inventory and can be used again.

Well, now that you know the basics, and all that’s left is to find the last ingredient. Although Volcanic Stone is found throughout most of the Altus Plateau, finding it can be the most time-consuming part of crafting a consumable. Fortunately, it is a renewable material, and here are some of the most convenient places to farm it:

  • Travel to the eastern outskirts of Volcano Manor and reach the Primeval Sorcerer Azur Site of Grace. You can collect as many as five deposits of Volcanic Stone just a few meters away from this spot near the cliff. After collecting everything, rest near the Site of Grace and collect a new crop.
  • Alternatively, you can head to the northern outskirts of Volcano Manor and collect four Volcanic Stone deposits a couple of meters around the Seethewater Terminus Site of Grace.

Since each deposit can reward you with 1-3 Volcanic Stones, you will quickly collect as much as you need. So collect more so that you can always create some fire consumables. Ultimately, this weapon can deal between 230 and 750 fire damage, depending on your Strength and Dexterity stats. However, these indicators can vary significantly due to the resistance or weakness of enemies to this type of damage.
