Let’s take a look at some of the best tips for farming Dragon Souls in The Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim:

  1. Complete the Diplomatic Immunity quest at the College of Winterhold. Slay the dragon outside the college and collect its soul. Now, sleep for more than 24 hours and return to the same place to find another dragon. Kill the dragon and repeat this process to farm Dragon Souls.
  2. While fast traveling between Dawnstar and Morthal, a dragon is outside Morthal. Slay the dragon and collect its soul. Fast travel between the two locations for the dragon to respawn, rinse, and repeat.
  3. Complete the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller quest, which involves visiting the tomb of Jurggen Windcaller. After completing the quest, return to the tomb to activate the horn and get a free Dragon Soul. When activating the horn, spam the activation button to get more than one Dragon Soul for free.
  4. Access the console command and type: player.forceav dragonsouls (Enter the number of Dragon Souls here) and press the Enter key.

Miraak steals the Dragon Souls for every dragon that is killed, meaning players should kill Miraak as soon as possible, as there is no way to stop him from stealing the Dragon Souls. Before a dragon dies, players get a fraction of souls, approximately three souls for every ten dragons that are slayed. However, when players slay Miraak, they will get a considerable number of souls, and then they will get all the souls of every dragon slain henceforth.

Players should now be able to farm Dragon Souls to consume them and unlock Dragon Shouts, thus making them powerful in the process, so much so they can defeat the mightiest of foes with little to no effort.
