Getting out alive is important in Modern Warfare Zombies, and when zombies are coming in droves to attack you — it’s not a walk in the park. To escape the nightmare of the undead, you need to exfil much like in DMZ. If you’re wondering how to do that, we’ll show you how exfil in Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ). So keep this guide open.
Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ): How to exfil
To escape, you must head to an exfil point. You can find one by bringing up your Tac-Map. There will be a few located throughout the map and will be blue with the person running. Kind of like a fire exit sign. When you reach the exfil point, you should see green smoke coming out from the area. Interact with, this will notify the helicopter to pick you and your squad up.
Easy right? Well, I’m here to tell you, that’s only half of the process. While you wait for the helicopter to arrive, there will be a giant horde of zombies attacking you. So if you’ve picked up any Field Upgrades, consider using them here. Once the helicopter has arrived, get on it, you don’t have to wipe zombies, you just need to survive.

Missing the exfil point
The helicopter won’t stay forever, so you must get on as soon as it arrives at your location. However, if you happen to miss it, don’t worry. Once you’ve escaped the attack, locate another exfil point and redo everything.
But be warned, since there’s a handful of these points, and every time one is triggered, it’s used. This means the number of exfil points will dwindle because they’ve called already. On top of that, there’s also an Aether Storm that will eat up exfil points. So make sure when you activate one, you leave. Otherwise, you’ll have fewer options to do so.
