In CS2, you can do a lot of funny and interesting things that make the game a content house. Things such as dance moves like twerking or any other hip TikTok dancing trends can easily add a new layer to the game. But what if I told you that you’ve been hit by, you’ve struck by smooth criminal? If you don’t get my bad joke, it means you can do a Michael Jackson peek in the shooter. It’s a little unconventional, but it seems to doing the trick to help win matches — and give your team a laugh. If you want to know how to enable and use the Michael Jackson peek move in CS2, we’ll show you how below.

CS2: How to enable and use the Michael Jackson peek move

Doing this requires some file manipulation, but if you already know how to do commands, you’ll understand these methods. However, if you don’t, you should still try it. The steps below will be easy enough to follow.

See how you can customize the commands of CS2 to your liking.

How to enable the peek move

First, open up Steam head to your games library, and look for Counter-Strike 2. Right-click the game, press Manage, then select Browse Local Files. It’ll open up a File Explorer window. When it’s open, look for the folder named “game”. Once you’re in the file, navigate to the csgo folder. Within that folder, find the cfg folder, it should be closer to the top. After, at the top, there’s going to be an autoexec.cfg file

However, if it’s not there you can create a text file and name it autoexec.cfg, just remember to take out the .txt when you do. After this is done, open the cfg file in a text editor, then copy and paste the following:

  • alias “check_mj_forward_1” “forwardback 0 0 0”
  • alias “check_mj_back_1” “forwardback 0 0 0”
  • alias “check_mj_left_1” “rightleft 0 0 0”
  • alias “check_mj_right_1″ rightleft 0 0 0”
  • alias “check_mj_forward_2” “”
  • alias “check_mj_back_2” “”
  • alias “check_mj_left_2” “”
  • alias “check_mj_right_2” “”
  • alias “check_mj_forward_3” “+forward”
  • alias “check_mj_back_3” “+back”
  • alias “check_mj_left_3” “+left”
  • alias “check_mj_right_3” “+right”
  • alias “+mj_forward” “check_mj_forward_3; forwardback 0.5 0 0; alias check_mj_forward_1 forwardback 0.5 0 0; alias check_mj_forward_2 +forward”
  • alias “+mj_back” “check_mj_back_3; forwardback -0.5 0 0; alias check_mj_back_1 forwardback -0.5 0 0; alias check_mj_back_2 +back”
  • alias “+mj_left” “check_mj_left_3; rightleft -0.5 0 0; alias check_mj_left_1 rightleft -0.5 0 0; alias check_mj_left_2 +left”
  • alias “+mj_right” “check_mj_right_3; rightleft 0.5 0 0; alias check_mj_right_1 rightleft 0.5 0 0; alias check_mj_right_2 +right”
  • alias “-mj_forward” “-forward; check_mj_back_1; alias check_mj_forward_1 forwardback 0 0 0; alias check_mj_forward_2”
  • alias “-mj_back” “-back; check_mj_forward_1; alias check_mj_back_1 forwardback 0 0 0; alias check_mj_back_2”
  • alias “-mj_left” “-left; check_mj_right_1; alias check_mj_left_1 rightleft 0 0 0; alias check_mj_left_2”
  • alias “-mj_right” “-right; check_mj_left_1; alias check_mj_right_1 rightleft 0 0 0; alias check_mj_right_2”
  • alias “+michael_jackson” “-forward; -back; -left; -right; alias check_mj_forward_3; alias check_mj_back_3; alias check_mj_left_3; alias check_mj_right_3”
  • alias “-michael_jackson” “check_mj_forward_2; check_mj_back_2; check_mj_left_2; check_mj_right_2; alias check_mj_forward_3 +forward; alias check_mj_back_3 +back; alias check_mj_left_3 +left; alias check_mj_right_3 +right”
  • bind “w” “+mj_forward”
  • bind “s” “+mj_back”
  • bind “a” “+mj_left”
  • bind “d” “+mj_right”
  • bind “alt” “+michael_jackson”

When that’s pasted in the text file, save and close the file explorer. Next, head back to Steam and go back to Counter-Strike 2 in your library. Right-click the game and select Properties. In the Launch Option dialogue box type in +exec autoexec.cfg, and put in the spaces. Note: if there’s any text in the box, put it in front of the text with spaces

How to use the move

After you’ve done all that, go into the game. Now, if you want to see the moonwalk, you’ll need to be in the third person. To do so, open up console commands via the tilde key (~) key and type in sv_cheats 1. Next type in the thirdperson (one word), so you can see your character doing the peek move. To do the move, simply press the alt key plus any of the movement buttons. Meaning alt + w a s d. However, if you’re looking in a new direction, you’ll need to re press alt and the new key
