Who would have thought that the deadliest thing in the game would be man-made? Huh. Here is how to disable Turrets in Lethal Company.
Lethal Company: How to disable Turrets
While facing Bracken, Forest Keepers, and even the Ghost Girl in Lethal Company can be horrifying and extremely difficult, there is nothing worse than opening a door and finding Turrets that will blast you to oblivion. Getting lighted by the orange lights of death is no joke, and despite your efforts, the Turrets will shoot you before you can get behind them most of the time. So, how can you disable them? Well, by turning them off using the Monitor, of course!
You will need one of your teammates to handle the Monitor. He will be the eye in the sky, looking at you and your teammates while you explore and scavenge scrap. Once you encounter a Turret, the teammate monitoring you will have to open the Terminal. Then they must type the name of the Turret in it. Once the teammate presses enter, he will disable the Turret for a short time. This is contrary to opening doors which is done the same way and will remain open. The Turrets will go back online and will shoot you again if you are not careful enough to take full advantage of their off window.
Alternatively, you can also shoot the Turret which will end up stunning it in a way, making it fire bullets in a pattern that you and your teammates can predict and avoid. Running across their line of sight will also be a good strategy in case there is no one in the Monitor since the Turrets do take a moment to start firing once they have acquired their target.

You see, while you can certainly attempt to play Lethal Company by yourself, it’s more a game for parties that communicate with each other. This will not only result in hilarious situations involving ridiculous deaths and the occasional jump scares but also enable team coordination and increase survivability if the team is in sync and not playing around – although it is a game, after all.
