Stardew Valley: 5 Best Quests
Quests are an exciting part of the farmer’s journey in Stardew Valley. Here’s a list of the best quests that have captured the hearts of players.
How to Start the Staff of Power Quest
The Staff of Power is activated automatically on the 5th of Winter during your second year. On this specific day, you’ll receive a letter requesting a small favor for the Wizard. The mail will state: “The Wizard is creating a staff of phenomenal power. Who knows what it’s for? He needs an iridium bar to finish it.”
This mission has no time constraints, allowing you to complete it at your convenience. Some players opt to postpone it until they require additional gold, as the quest’s reward is quite substantial.
The Staff of Power: Quest Objective
For the Staff of Power quest, give the Wizard an Iridium Bar. Craft one by smelting five Iridium Ores and one Coal in the Furnace. Or acquire bars from mining in Skull Caverns, interacting with the Statue of Perfection, defeating Purple Slimes, or receiving them as gifts from Clint during the Feast of the Winter Star.
Also, the Statue of Endless Fortune has a 25% chance of producing one Iridium Bar when it’s not any of the villagers’ birthday.
Once you have the Iridium Bar,
hold it in your hand and interact with the Wizard
in the same way you would when
giving a gift
. This action will transfer the Bar to his inventory, concluding the Staff of Power Quest.
The Rewards for Completing the Staff of Power Mission
After completing the Staff of Power Quest, the Wizard rewards you with 5,000 Gold. Additionally, you’ll earn one Friendship Heart with the Wizard, reflecting the strengthened bond between you due to your helpfulness. It’s important to note that this mission does not unlock any additional features or items. Furthermore, it is independent of other missions, allowing you to keep it in your Journal until you’re ready to tackle it.
