As part of her third batch of requests, Elizabeth will offer Request 44: “I wish to feel the ocean.” Since she isn’t allowed to travel far from the Velvet Room, the assistant of Persona 3 Reload wants a souvenir that can remind her of the ocean.
Unlike other requests in Persona 3 Reload, Request 44 has no hard time limit. However, you only get one real opportunity to find an item that can fulfill this request. If you fail to grab a souvenir during the Yakushima vacation after the first-term finals, you’ll be entirely out of luck.
Persona 3 Reload: How to Beat the Chariot and Justice Bosses
While this boss appears to be one Shadow, this enemy in Persona 3 Reload is a two-for-one deal. Here is how to defeat Chariot and Justice.
Where to Get an Ocean Memento
During the Yakushima vacation sequence, there are several moments when you get control of the main character and have him run around a beach area. You can grab a memento during any of these free-roam sections, but the first one on 7/20 is probably the easiest.
If Request 44 is active, an exclamation point will hover over four points along the beach. The four points are still there if you didn’t take the request, but the game won’t point them out to you. There are two points in the water on either side of the pier, one by the large piece of driftwood, and one in the water by the rocks on the west end of the beach.
Each of the four points gives you a different item:
- The Beach gives you a Pretty Seashell
- The by the pier point gives you Strange Seaweed
- The Driftwood gives you Yakushima Wood
- The Rocky Area gives you a Small Crab.
You can collect all four if you like, but you only need one to complete Elizabeth’s request. You can also collect them on other vacation days, including the day that introduces a new SEES member.
What You Get for Completing Request 44
Once you get back from Yakushima, you can head straight over to Elizabeth to complete this request. You can choose between all the items you picked up from the beach, all of which are good enough to work. However, she has a unique response for each of the four items.
No matter what you give Elizabeth, the reward for this request is always the same: five Amethysts. She doesn’t provide any extra reward for giving her an item she likes, nor does she give a special reward for finding all four items. Players who go the extra mile may be disappointed by this, but on the bright side, this means Request 44 is easy to complete (at least if you take a moment to grab a memento from the Yakushima beach).
