How to Change Your Hair Color in Love and Deepspace
Annoyingly, you can’t actually change your hair colour in the initial character customisation screen – or if you decide to change your character’s appearance later on in the game. This is because of story continuity, especially since your character shows up on the front of Memories with the original hair color. It’s all for the sake of immersion!
Luckily, the character customisation regarding the facial features, makeup, and the style of the front of your hair is quite detailed! This allows all players to create a unique character for themselves, just without the choice of hair colours…
The Photo Studio
If you’ve been browsing the internet and noticed certain screenshots from the game, you may have seen people’s characters sporting different colored hair. You can only change the color in the Photo Studio! This isn’t permanent and only shows up in the photo. Follow the steps below if you’re unsure!
- Tap the ‘Date’ button at the bottom of the screen
- Select ‘Photo Studio’
- Choose the companion you want to take photos with
- Set up the backgrounds and photo modes
- Tap ‘Next’ to be taken to Step 2
- Select ‘Style Me’ to alter your character’s hair, outfit, accessories, and makeup
- This is where you can change your hair color!
