What is The Tombstone Perk?
The Tombstone Perk is one of the 8 Perk-A-Colas in Modern Warfare 3’s Zombie mode. Unlike the other Perks that boost a player’s abilities or characters, the Tombstone creates a stash wherever a player dies. Players can then use this stash to store and save items to retrieve during the next run. For instance, players can keep their backpacks with everything inside and return to collect them during the next deployment.
How Does The Tombstone Perk Work?
Think of the Tombstone Perk in MW3 as a safety insurance. If a player dies during a deployment, they won’t lose any items they’ve collected in their backpack. However, they will lose any armor vests, Killstreaks, weapons, and equipment they had during the run. The Tombstone Perk only works for items in the Rucksack.
The best way to use the Tombstone Perk is to save rare and valuable blueprints such as Schematics.
