HoYoverse has announced the release date for Honkai: Star Rail update 1.5.
The update, which will follow on from last month’s version 1.4, will bring new content to the free-to-play RPG when it lands on November 15th.
There’s a decidedly creepy vibe to this update; HoYoverse may have just missed out on spooky season, but the studio isn’t letting that stop it.
The first new addition is the Fyxestroll Garden, a spooky location where you’ll be dealing with creatures called the heliobi.
These creatures are “created from accumulated grievances”, according to HoYoverse, and they’re capable of “inhabit[ing] individuals, manipulat[ing] their senses, and control[ling] their souls and even their bodies”.
You’ll put together a crack ghost-hunting team and solve the mystery of the heliobi, and you may even find yourself assisted by “one of the Xianzhou’s most formidable forces” in the form of the Ten-Lords Commission.
Two new characters from the Commission will also be joining your quest: the five-star Wind character Huohuo and the four-star Physical character Hanya.
They’ll be joined by Argenti, who isn’t part of the Ten-Lords Commission. He’s an elegant five-star Physical character who follows the Path of Erudition.
As well as these characters, you can also look forward to various events over the course of Honkai: Star Rail update 1.5, including one in which you assist March 7th with restoring her childhood photographs.
A new Guest Book feature will also be added that helps you check on your friends’ Astral Express visiting history, and you can look forward to a new Genius Society update “soon” as well.
Honkai: Star Rail is available right now for free on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.
It’s a free-to-play turn-based gacha RPG created by the folks behind the wildly popular Genshin Impact, and like that game, it allows you to build a team of characters in order to explore an anime-inspired world.
Stay tuned for more on all things Honkai: Star Rail.
