Product:
Cream Cookies:
- In a bowl put the cream, butter, sugar and salt.
- Add the whole egg and yolk and mix well.
- Next, add the flour little by little, because depending on the moisture content of the cream and the amount of eggs, you may need to add less or a little more.
- Add all the ingredients and mix well, but do not knead the dough, just mix; the tip of the dough can form a ball, which can be easily rolled like gnocchi.
- Place the dough on a floured surface, make long, thin rolls and cut into approximately 1 cm pieces with a sharp knife.
- Moisten the cookies with a little water and roll them in granulated sugar until the entire surface is covered.
- Place cookies on greased baking sheets, leaving space between them; do not place them on baking paper or silicone mat, as the butter helps caramelize the bottom of the cookies and creates a delicious “cone.”
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes or until golden; They should be caramel in color but not dark.
- Turn off the oven and remove the baking sheet(s).
- Let cool on a rack.
Finishing and Assembly:
- Exchange Cream Cookies With afternoon tea or a cup of coffee.
- If you are going to use them another time, store them in an airtight container.
