Time waits for nobody—not even a Time Princess.
IGG’s much-loved historical dress-up game is already turning four, and to mark the occasion the studio has put on a massive 4th Anniversary museum collaboration event.
The museum in question is the Mauritshuis in the Hague, Netherlands, home of several world-renowned masterpieces such as Vermeer’s Girl with the Pearl Earring and Fabritius’s The Goldfinch.
The Time Princess 4th Anniversary museum collaboration event is your chance to experience some of what Maurishuis’s collection has to offer—and without getting on a plane.
Naturally, you’ll be able to wear garments and outfits inspired by the subjects of these paintings, bringing them to life in an accessible, fun way.
Time Princess’s developers have reportedly poured their hearts into this collaboration, taking bold creative risks in the process.
For instance, with Girl with the Pearl Earring the team strived not only to faithfully represent the original, internationally famous artwork, but also to add their own touches to capture the elegance and mystery of the subject.
You’ll be able to transform your character into this subject with exclusive in-game garments and items, giving you a deeper sense of connection to Vermeer’s masterpiece
The event contains its own side story, too. Her Invitation sees you embarking on a journey of discovery at the Mauritshuis with Alain, your former time-traveling companion. In the process you’ll uncover secrets and learn about some of the world’s most valuable art.
Time Princess has always been much more than a dress-up game, encouraging its players to broaden their horizons by exploring a huge diversity of world cultures and artifacts.
This latest collaboration might just be the most sumptuous yet.
