WWE is back with its annual release, WWE 2K24, which features a huge roster. Here are the highest rated male athletes currently active in the company.

10 Triple H – 91

WWE 2K24 Triple H

Triple H has done it all in the WWE, both in and out the ring. As part of two famous factions in Degeneration X and Evolution, HHH cemented himself as one of the greatest of all time by being able to effortlessly cement himself at the top of the mountain while simultaneously giving up-and-coming stars the push they needed. Without Triple H, stars like Batista and Randy Orton may not have gone on to have the stellar careers they enjoyed.

While Triple H has taken a back seat as COO of WWE, his championship runs were legendary during the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Eras, as he continued to prove himself invaluable to the company time and time again. His athleticism, ring presence, and in-ring IQ just couldn’t be matched, and that’s without mentioning that his ability to work a crowd was tough to top.

Wrestling legends Bruno Sammartino and Andre the Giant also received 91 rankings. Triple H was chosen to be entry number 10 on account of his ongoing role within the company and his significant impact on WWE both in and out of the ring during and after his career.

9 The Fiend Bray Wyatt – 92

  • Bray Wyatt – 90
  • Bray Wyatt ’20 – 88
  • Bray Wyatt ’20 (nWo) – 87
  • Bray Wyatt ’20 (SNME) – 85

Before his untimely passing, it seemed by all appearances that Bray Wyatt would take over the role of the eerie, supernatural presence in WWE, a mantle that had been held by the Undertaker for over two decades. Despite his career coming to a tragic halt, Wyatt left behind a legacy that included a memorable performance at Wrestlemania against John Cena, and a plethora of unforgettable matches and promotions. One persona he will be most famously remembered for was the terrifying, masked alter ego known as the Fiend.

With an intimidating theme song, a horrific aura and an unsettling children’s show to go with the persona, The Fiend terrorized the WWE with its Jekyl and Hyde relationship with Bray Wyatt. With a host of impressive victories and a tyrannous run as the WWE Universal Champion, Wyatt and the Fiend left behind a short but incredible run as a fan-favorite entertainer.

8 Ultimate Warrior – 92

With his signature bright colored arm bands and face paint, fans would miss Warrior if they blinked as he sprinted toward the ring at the sound of his upbeat music.

The Ultimate Warrior was famous for having an infectious spirit, winning over the crowd with his personality and his courage in the ring. With a famous win over Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 6, Warrior would cement his place among the all-time greats of his era.

  • Shawn Michaels ’94 – 85

Wrestling fans often refer to Shawn Michaels as “Mr. Wrestlemania”, and for good reason, as there were few athletes out there that could replicate the performances The Showstopper put on in his stellar career. However, it was one of his losses on the Grandest Stage of Them All that may very well have been his best.

Coming in with a 93 rating, higher than his standard character, Shawn Michaels in 2009 would go head-to-head with the Undertaker in one of the greatest matches in the history of the event. The match was so highly-regarded, in fact, that it would win Match of the Year at the Slammys, the famous wrestling awards ceremony. Despite the loss, there wasn’t a moment in that match that hindered the incredible legacy Michaels had created during his career.

His microphone skills aside, very few athletes who have stepped foot in the ring can rival Cena’s strength, power, and ring presence, evident in his record-number of WWE Championship wins and unforgettable performances in major events like Wrestlemania and the Royal Rumble. Before that, Undertaker had built himself an invincible reputation, with a host of top stars having unsuccessfully tried to break the streak. But none got closer than Shawn Michaels in 2009, forcing Undertaker to produce one of the gutsiest performances of his career to keep it intact, showing fans a vulnerable but determined side to the Deadman.

With his brash attitude, disrespect for authority, and signature middle finger (when TV broadcasting approved it), Austin became the ultimate anti-hero for wrestling fans everywhere.

Along with the likes of Undertaker, Triple H, and The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin was a pioneer in the popularity boom WWE would experience, seeing them through a tough period and into prosperity. He didn’t just do it on the microphone either, with his in-ring abilities earning him Wrestlemania championship wins and multiple Royal Rumble victories.

1 The Rock ’01 – 96

Before the bright lights of Hollywood and the mass of arm and chest tattoos, Dwayne Johnson was simply known as The Rock and not by his real name and his movies. But, for many fans, it came as no surprise that Johnson would find success as an actor, as he proved to be one of the most talented performers in the history of the WWE.

With his signature eyebrow, slew of witty catchphrases, and ability to hold a crowd in the palm of his hand, something he still does effortlessly to this day, The Rock is arguably one of the greatest WWE performers of all time, and has the wrestling…bloodline…to complement his natural talents. Whether you were smelling what he was cooking or not, very few superstars filled arenas the way The Rock did.
