Meanwhile the BBC Morning Live presenter, 41, has not commented on the scam, warning anyone who comes across untrustworthy posts and websites.
East Midlands Cyber Security Center X shared: 'X users may have seen clickbait ads in their feeds which appear to target TV presenter and actress Helen Skelton.
'Our advice is not to click on ads. Similar previous ads have led to people being duped.'

While the BBC Morning Live presenter would not comment on the scam, anyone coming across untrustworthy posts and websites was warned.
The East Midlands Cyber Security Center shared a statement on X following the scam.

It includes eight bedrooms, six bathrooms, four reception rooms, an annex and an outdoor heated pool.
She and Richie spent £1.1 million buying two adjacent properties set in an exclusive gated community.
