Peter Helyar and his wife Bridget have missed out on a place in the final of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition.
During Sunday night's show, the pair battled it out and were eliminated in Thailand.
The episode began with the teams' first stop, Phuket Gateway, where they searched for turtle egg sculptures.
From there, they headed to the elephant sanctuary, treating the massive animals to a spa day that included mud baths and showers.

'It was very disappointing to be so close to the grand final. It would have been better to say we enjoyed every episode,' he continued.
