Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr. reunite for her Broadway debut in New York City.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr. Enjoyed a special reunion during the actor's Broadway debut in NYC – five years after the pair last starred together in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Shakespearean romance actress, 52 – who was recently spotted on the set of Yar Marty Supreme – took to her Instagram Stories as she posed with Downey Jr., 59, backstage at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater on Saturday.

Both stars were known for portraying characters in the Iron Man and Avengers franchises, before his character's demise in Avengers: Endgame (2019).

Paltrow flashed a small smile as she stood next to Robert on a sidewalk wearing a black skirt and black jacket.

She additionally slipped on a pair of sleek, black shoes and let her blonde locks flow down past her shoulders in natural waves.

The Oppenheimer star kept it casual in black, silk pajamas and a vibrant, orange shirt.

In the caption added to the image, Gwyneth wrote to her followers, 'Just saw this genius @robertdowneyjr on stage.'

Downey Jr., Ayad Akhtar's new drama McNeil — also stars Melora Hardin, Andrea Martin, Ruthie Ann Miles and Rafi Gavron.

A play debuted earlier this month and will run through November 24.

Robert recently opened up about stepping onto Broadway and revealed how he's focused, according to ABC News.

Paltrow and Downey Jr. have maintained a close friendship over the years and have appeared on each other's social media pages on numerous occasions.

While filming Avengers: Endgame, Gwyneth – who portrays Pepper Potts – took a quick selfie with Robert as they enjoyed 'lunch time' together.
