Remember GTA+, Rockstar’s subscription service, which provides bonuses for Grand Theft Auto Online players alongside access to select classic games? Without warning, it’s suddenly seen a price increase. As reported by GameSpot and VGC, the subscription service has gone from $5.99/€5.99/£4.99 monthly to $7.99/€7.99/£6.99.
Rockstar didn’t provide any reason for the increase nor announce it beforehand. However, it’s far from the only subscription service to increase its prices. Last June saw Microsoft hiking the price of Game Pass from $9.99 to $10.99 monthly, while Game Pass Ultimate went from $14.99 to $16.99. Sony wasn’t far behind, raising the prices of all PlayStation Plus tiers in September, albeit only for the 12-month plans. Head here for more details.
GTA+ is available exclusively to Xbox Series X/S and PS5 and provides discounts, special vehicle upgrades, storage for up to 100 vehicles, free clothes, GTA$500,000 monthly and other bonuses. Subscribers also get access to titles like Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition alongside mobile titles like GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: Chinatown Wars.
