Grow your fighters legend with Punch Club 2: Fast Forward on iOS

There is something inexplicably entertaining about management simulation games that is hard to pinpoint unless you actually have played them, but they are a great time. Lucky for Apple users then, as Lazy Bear Games have released Punch Club 2: Fast Forward for iOS.

You will be kicking off as a relative weakling in a cyberpunk city where strength is all that matters, and a fight breaks out on every corner. To survive here you will need to get in shape and enter tournaments, before stumbling upon the truth behind the mysterious Dark Fist, topple a corrupt corporation, and if you feel like it, save the whole world.

There is an in-depth management system to get to grips with to plan out your day, but you will also need money. Take on some jobs with the police and try to bring order to the city, or sink it further into depravity by working with the mafia. If you are looking for an easy road, try some illegal software and neuro-technology, but you might experience some side effects.

Now we have saved the best bit of news until last, just after that trailer’s awesome music. Punch Club 2: Fast Forward will be free to play for 45 minutes, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but should be just enough time to leave you wanting more—those sneaky developers.

Should you fall under the spell you have two purchase options. The first is you spend $9.99 and unlock the base game. If you want more fighting action though, you can bundle it up with the Iron Fist DLC for a total of $14.99. Something to bear in mind though is that you can’t buy the DLC separately on the App Store. So if you are enjoying it, consider throwing in the extra cash.

You can find Punch Club 2: Fast Forward on the App Store now, however, you will need to have an iPhone released from 2018 onwards. That generation started with the XR, XS, and XS Max, but not the X itself. Apple’s naming department took the week off when they came up with that generation’s devices.
