If you are a fan of the dark fantasy vibe, then you are in for a treat, as Outterdawn has announced the official release date for Grimguard Tactics. Landing on Android and iOS on September 12th, we will soon be able to take our first steps into Tereno.
The world of Tereno was in a prosperous age, right up until the moment a god was murdered. Confused and scared, the Primorvans have descended into madness, tainting the natural order of life. The situation was made worse when a band of warriors formed to beat back the evil fell to the betrayal of a trusted friend. Decades pass, but the wounds still fester.
Stepping into this land is a dangerous task, and you must master the strategic turn-based combat system to survive. Recruit strong heroes and use them to unleash powerful tactics and RPG-style combos to overcome the dark forces. Each hero can specialise in powerful sub-classes, opening up even more options to consider.
The town of Holdfast stands as the last bastion of humanity, and you will need to build up your base to have a hope of success. Conduct daring raids into Primorvan-controlled territory to secure materials to build your own haven. Then, kick back in the tavern and relax as your team heads out in idle autoplay to keep building up your power as you take care of other, non-world-saving business.
Until release, you can stick your name down for pre-registration to start with a bunch of handy goodies. Right now there are just over 300,000 names down, unlocking Gold, Portraits, Frames and more. If 600,000 people sign up before the launch, then everyone will walk away with the legendary Dawnseeker Artibter hero, so if you are interested, definitely get involved.
