Gold Derby Joe is currently predicted to win the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film.
Nominees for the elite awards have yet to be announced, but already Joe and others are building awards for their performances over the past year.
Variety previously reported that Joe and Selena will be nominated for Oscars in the supporting actress category, while Carla Sofia Gascon will compete for the lead actress nomination.
