Granblue Fantasy Relink update plans
So far, we have a few confirmed updates for Granblue Fantasy Relink, starting as early as March 2024. Here is everything we know so far:
Lucilius boss fight – March 2024
The first major content update, Lucilius, a major antagonist throughout the Granblue Fantasy series, will be making a return in Relink as an option super boss. This will be available both as a single player and co-op experience, and is billed as being one of, if not the most challenging boss in the game to this point.
New playable characters – April 2024
The second major update is set to bring two new playable characters. These are Seofon and Tweyen, both of whom are members of the Eternals. Seofon is a melee-focused character who wields two swords and deals high combo damage. On the other hand, Tweyen is an archer capable of firing a variety of magic arrows, each with their own unique effects.
You’ll be able to unlock them by progressing to a certain point in the game, or by simply purchasing them to unlock them immediately. Both characters will also have their own Fate Episodes in the game, letting you get to grips with their backstories.
Unknown update – May 2024
Developers Cygames have already confirmed a third major content update is set to arrive in May 2024, however, we don’t know anything about it so far. It’s expected that it could include some new quests and playable characters, but until we hear more about it, it’s simply a matter of waiting until we get a new announcement.
