Gigi Hadid opens up about 'supportive' boyfriend Bradley Cooper ahead of Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Gigi Hadid opened up about her 'supportive' boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, before she struts down the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday.

The supermodel, 29 – who opened the much-anticipated runway event – briefly made rare comments while talking about the 49-year-old Oscar winner backstage at Entertainment Tonight.

She revealed that she won't be in the live audience but will instead be cheering her daughter Leah, seven, on from home as she watches.

'He's watching from home tonight,' Gigi explained to the outlet, adding that he's on 'dad duty' for the night.

Cooper shares Leah with fellow supermodel and ex. Irina Shayk – who walked during the fashion show.

Hadeed continued, 'But [he is] Very supportive. I have friends coming! So many friends.'

The beauty was asked if close friend Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce could stop the runway show.

The lovebirds have been spotted on recent trips to NYC where the event is taking place – including attending the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians game at Yankee Stadium on Monday.

However, Gigi told ET, 'I think if they have one more night before he goes back [to Kansas City] Then they will be comfortable in bed.

'That's just my guess. But she will also be a companion. I can feel it,' added the Guest in Residence founder.

On Tuesday, Bradley was spotted holding hands with his daughter as they enjoyed a leisurely stroll in the Big Apple.

The actor and supermodel were first linked in October 2023 – and the pair have been spotted on various outings. In July, Hadid and Cooper were spotted touring a building together in NYC.

At the same time, a source told DailyMail.com that Cooper has plans to propose the model. 'Bradley has already decided he's going to marry Gigi.'

'Bradley only has two projects in production right now, but nothing has been lined up since then,' the insider added.

'He wants to take some time to focus on this and give Gigi the attention and love she deserves.'

Regarding popping the big question, the source added that the star-born actor 'has the blessings of his family, friends and his daughter'.

Gigi is also mother to four-year-old daughter Kai, whom she shares with ex and former One Direction member Zayn Malik.

According to the insider, Cooper and Malik met up and said, 'They've all moved on and are devoted parents, so there's no problem.'

'All of them have had multiple interactions with the children they co-parent.'

Also, Gigi and Zayn's daughter gets along well with Bradley and Irina's daughter. She almost acts like a big sister to her. They intend to become a blended functional family.'

A separate source revealed to People that Cooper and Hadid are in a 'perfect relationship'.

Last month in August, Gigi and Bradley took themselves to Taylor Swift's $17 million Rhode Island mansion.

Cooper was spotted at the singer's lavish home with his daughter, along with Taylor's boyfriend Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany.

Taylor is no stranger to hosting celebrity guests at her Rhode Island home — the same place she's hosted Fourth of July parties in the past.

At the end of the summer, Hadid and Cooper were also spotted sharing a passionate kiss on a luxury yacht during a trip to the island of Palmarola in Italy with their A-list pals.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show returns after a five-year hiatus – with the last event taking place in 2018.

Besides Gigi, other supermodels who walked the runway included Tyra Banks, Iman Hammam, Candice Swanepoel, Ashley Graham, Taylor Hill and Barbara Balvin.

'As a little girl, I watched the show, loved the show and dreamed about being backstage at the show,' she said.

'Now, it's been years since we last did it, so it feels like the first time again. It's just, magical. It's all big bright lights. It's like a more glamorous version of a fashion show.

Gigi added: 'It's really funny in my opinion. And I'm glad I'm here.'

Of how the show has evolved, the model revealed, 'I think there's – you know, there was definitely time for change.'

'Sometimes I think big brands need to take a break and rethink a lot of things and not realize that people don't want more of what they already have. People loved that nostalgia…'

'But, you know, society is now in a place where the customer has a voice, they're going to say what they want, and I think with trial and error, over time, we've gotten to the best place we can. Stay now.'

Hadid then continued, 'But we're looking at a show that people miss and people love and we have new things that people want and really need.'
