A new set of Event Wish gachas will soon appear in HoYoverse’s popular RPG Genshin Impact, and the new character Chevreuse will be featured in both.
Chevreuse is a 4-star Pyro character initially introduced in November and coming within the second gacha cycle of the recent update 4.3 following the other new character, Navia.
Her gachas will be available between January 9 and January 30, so you have a few days left before you can roll on her.
Specifically, she will be included in the Reign of Serenity Event Wish, which will also come with the popular Raiden Shogun, Sara, and Bennet.
The second character event Wish titled “Tapestry of the Golden Flames” features the same lineup including Chevreuse, but replaces the Raiden Shogun with Yoimiya.
She’s the captain of Fontaine’s special security and surveillance patrol, and apparently, she really likes food and crime novels.
She’s voiced in English by Erica Lindbeck and in Japanese by Shino Shimoji. You may know her as Shionne in Tales of Arise, Pyra and Mythra in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Louffe in Valkyria Chronicles 4, and Akiha Tohno in Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon.
You can check out Chevreuse in action in the trailer below. If you’d rather listen to her voice in Japanese you can find the related trailer on the official channel.
Genshin Impact is currently playable for free for PS5, PS4, PC, iOS, and Android. Since it’s a free-to-play game, you don’t need to pay any price of admission to get into it, albeit there are the usual optional microtransactions.
Speaking of HoYoverse games, the brand-new Zenless Zone Zero is coming for PC and mobile in early 2024.
