Genshin Impact Leak Shows New Area in Version 4.4
Recent leaks from Genshin Impact show off the newest explorable area planned to be added to the RPG with the Version 4.4 update.
A recent leak shared by Genshin Impact leakers Kei-Luna and Genshin Meow showcases the Liyue region’s newest enemy in action. The cat-like creature utilizes multiple swiping and jumping attacks within melee range, with a ranged attack that fires four Hydro projectiles at the player. The video also shows Liyue’s newest enemy using a special attack, swiping down with its tail to send out a massive projectile dealing Anemo damage. The new enemy is set to debut with the launch of Genshin Impact‘s Version 4.4, currently expected to release on January 31.
Alongside teasing the game’s newest enemy, the leak also showcases more gameplay of new character Xianyun, Version 4.4’s featured five-star character. Xianyun will join Genshin Impact‘s roster as an Anemo Catalyst character focusing around Plunging Attacks, with her kit offering high mobility. She is expected to be a powerful support to teams built around Plunging Attacks, working particularly well with characters like Xiao and Kazuha. Xianyun will also be joined by four-star character Gaming in Version 4.4, teased in leaks as a Pyro Claymore character with some flashy animations.
While HoYoverse gears up for Xianyun’s highly-anticipated release, the recent Version 4.3 introduced another notable addition to Genshin Impact‘s roster. The most recent update to the RPG added Navia to the game as a Geo Claymore character, Genshin Impact‘s first Geo character in nearly two years. The update will also see the release of Chevreuse during Version 4.3’s second half as a four-star Pyro character focused around the Overload elemental reaction. Genshin Impact‘s newest Liyue enemy will give players a chance to test out their newest characters with its debut in Version 4.4.
