Gene Simmons steps out in LA for first time since 'creepy' appearance on Dancing With The Stars

I saw Gene Simmons for the first time since he was blasted for his 'creepy' comments during an appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

The KISS frontman and bassist, 75, stepped out in Los Angeles on Wednesday sporting a black button-down with blue jeans and white sneakers.

His black hair was covered by a baseball cap, and he covered his eyes with a pair of sunglasses.

The rocker had a cell phone in his hand as he walked through a parking lot.

Simmons was a guest on ABC's Dancing with the Stars for Hair Metal Night, but rubbed many fans the wrong way.

She joined judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli on Tuesday's episode as they danced to '80s hair metal hits like Cherry Pie, Rock You Like a Hurricane and more.

However, fans were less than appreciative of Simmons' sexually suggestive comments, with many calling her the worst guest judge in the show's 33 seasons.

Even host Alfonso Ribeiro seemed to be at odds with Simmons, firing back with a rather nasty comment.

Most of the time Simmons made a regular comment, he referred to the female dancer's appearance, which many viewers labeled as 'creepy'.

He told Danny Amendola and Whitney Carson that he couldn't figure out which was more 'hot hot hot'.

He called Reginald Veljansson's partner Emma Slater, 'a beautiful woman', and Sandler Stevens, 'fogged my glasses,' adding that he 'moved me not only with your gyrations, but with your beautiful face.'

Many voiced their frustration on Tuesday, such as @gray_dwts, who wrote: 'Sweet Ilona went from torturing her further during eliminations to practically 500 million views of the same dance. *Creepy a** Judge Gene is a CHOP tonight.'

@bambiisugars added, 'Gene Simmons is the worst guest judge ever on Dancing with the Stars…. Definitely provided some entertaining television I think.

Fans were less appreciative of Simmons' sexist comments, with many saying she was the worst guest judge in the show's 33 seasons.

Another X user, @sambothehambo01, insisted that 'ABC apologizes after putting Gene Simmons in there and putting their actors through it. Why didn't a producer tap that?'

@MCMiddleton addressed Ribeiro's comment at the end of the show, which he said after a routine by Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy.

Simmons said, 'I'm a big bad boy and bad girl fan,' and when Phaedra reacted, Gene said, 'Settle down. It's a family show. Settle in.

A seemingly incredulous Ribeiro said, 'Oh, now you're worried', which drew applause from the other judges and the crowd.

Many took to social media on Tuesday to voice their frustration, with one commenter calling Jean a 'woke a** creepy** judge'.

The episode featured the double elimination of two fan favorites, Reginald Veljansson and Eric Roberts.

Dancing with the Stars returns next week with Dedication Night on Tuesday, October 15 and Disney Night on Tuesday, October 22.
