Though Forza Motorsport’s global launch is still about a day away, the racing sim title has been available in early access for a few days now, and as you’d expect from any game (especially this early in its life), in spite of being a technically impressive product, it’s not totally devoid of glitches.

One particular glitch is being reported by quite a few players. Users on the official Forza forums and on Reddit have reported instances of the game freezing when they try to apply upgrades to cars in Career Mode (dubbed Builder’s Mode in the game), following which the game requires a restart, which causes progress from the just-completed race being lost.

Players seem to be reporting this issue on all platforms. Turn 10 Studios has yet to officially communicate regarding the issue, though presumably (or hopefully), the developer will be looking to address it with an upcoming update.

In our review of Forza Motorsport, we awarded it a score of 9/10, saying, “Turn 10 Studios’ flagship racing series has never been better. With exceptional gameplay, gorgeous graphics, a compelling Career Mode and a swathe of options, Forza Motorsport is simply incredible.” Read the full review through here.

Forza Motorsport is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC in early access, and launches globally on October 10.
