Fortnitemares 2023 is an event many Fortnite players look forward to. Epic Games just revealed its release date, and it’s right around the corner. Once again, the Halloween event will bring new skins and cosmetics, new gameplay items, and much more.

Last year’s event was rather disappointing. While Epic released some great skins and a new Mythic item, players expected a lot more out of the event. However, it appears that the popular event will be much better this year. The game developer is preparing a lot of big things for it, according to leakers.

Fortnitemares 2023 release date confirmed by Epic Games

The release date of Fortnitemares 2023 is Tuesday, October 10. It will be released with the v26.30 update, which will likely be the last major update of Chapter 4 – Season 4. Epic Games has already added a couple of new Halloween-themed skins to the game data.

Not only has Epic Games confirmed the Fortnitemares 2023 start date, but the company also teased a couple of new features. The creatures are likely zombies, which will return for a limited time, and we can also expect the map to look much darker.

According to Fortnite leakers, Epic Games will bring the Pumpkin Launcher back for the event. The Witch Broom will also be unvaulted for a limited time, along with a Reality Augment that reduces its cooldown. Epic may also bring the Kinetic Blade back to the game for the event.

Finally, a few new Halloween-themed skins will come out during the event. New versions of Love Ranger and Fishstick will likely come to the Item Shop, along with a few other cosmetic items.
