Fortnite has received a lot of new content with the release of Chapter 5. From new game modes to new gameplay mechanics, Epic Games has made the game feel fresh and new once again. Weapon mods were one of the biggest additions to Fortnite Battle Royale, and the latest leak shows a new feature that will improve these mods.
Despite releasing many new things lately, Epic won’t stop adding new content to Fortnite. The upcoming feature will change the game, and it will be interesting to see how players will use it to their advantage.
This leaked Fortnite feature will change the game
Fortnite weapon mods are very useful when it comes to changing basic weapon stats. Whether you want a better scope or a larger magazine, you can find a Mod Bench and adjust your weapon. These mods slightly change weapons, but the upcoming feature will add new groundbreaking mods.
According to iFireMonkey, a reputable Fortnite leaker, Epic Games is working on a new type of weapon mod. In addition to this, the game developer will release a few more basic mods, from magazines to barrels.
The leaker claims that Epic will release a new mod category called Weapon AMPs. At least four Weapon AMPs will come to the game, and here is a list of them:
- Automatic Fire
- Crit Damage Multiplier
- Flaming Bullets
- Stamina Restoration
The second perk will allow players to increase the headshot multiplier for weapons, which will be arguably the best Fortnite weapon mod in the entire game. Flaming Bullets will also be powerful, especially on automatic weapons, while it will also be possible to restore stamina on successful hits.
Besides these mods, Epic Games is working on adding more basic mods, and here they are:
- Muzzle Breach
- Long Barrel
- Fire Barrel
- Triple Barrel
- Overload Mag
- Extended Mag
- Quick Mag
- Speed Foregrip
The release date of this new feature is currently unknown. However, considering that Epic released a smaller Fortnite update on Tuesday, a new one may come on January 9.
