Fortnite‘s collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender has added new locations in the form of Elemental Shrines. Visiting these Elemental Shrines ensures that players will be able to open an Avatar chest and get their hands on elemental bending Mythics.
Fortnite: How to Get Appa Glider
Here is how players can get the Appa glider during the Avatar: The Last Airbender event in Fortnite.
If the introduction of a plethora of skins such as Korra and Toph wasn’t enough, Fortnite added some more exciting items through its Fortnite x Avatar: The Last Airbender Elements event. Not only do players have the option to try out three new mythics but some popular characters such as Aang are making their debut as well. If players are looking to find Elemental Shrines for the quests or loot, here is what they need to know.
What are Elemental Shrines in Fortnite?
Players might be well aware of the four Avatar-inspired Mythics available in Fortnite, namely Firebending, Waterbending, Earthbending, and Airbending. However, finding them through chests and regular loot can be a bit tricky, and that’s where the elemental shrines come into play.
Each of these areas is dedicated to one of the elemental bending Mythics, and their color indicates which one. Players have a guaranteed way of obtaining one of the Mythic in these locations, as in the center of the Elemental Shrine there will be an Avatar chest.
Where to Find Elemental Shrines in Fortnite
There are a total of eight Elemental Shrines in Fortnite, which are mostly found near some of the popular POIs. Here is where players can find each of the elemental shrines in the game and which bending technique they’ll be able to find there.

As far as completing the Fortnite x Avatar: The Last Airbender – Elements quest goes, all players need to do is head to one of these locations and the objective should be automatically marked complete. There is no interaction required as such, and simply reaching the above area should suffice.
The only thing players should be wary of is that they will not be the only ones heading to these locations, as many would want to gain an edge on the battlefield using the power of the Mythic.
