With Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 coming in a few weeks, the community is once again hyped. The new season will bring a lot of new content, including map changes and new skins in the Battle Pass. Despite the season coming out in early March, its theme may have already been revealed. Furthermore, Epic Games teased some new characters that could come with the next Battle Pass.
According to Hypex, the most reputable Fortnite leaker, Epic is already playtesting the new season. The development team is making sure that everything goes smoothly for its launch, which is less than a month away. The leaker also brought up the subject of the next season’s theme, and it will be interesting to see what Epic will do about it.
The theme of the next Fortnite season may have been revealed
There has been a lot of talk about the theme of the next Fortnite season. However, considering that Epic Games is working on many characters from Greek mythology, a lot of players believe this will be the theme. Not only were the skins shown in one of the surveys in 2023, but the upcoming earthquake event may reveal Mount Olympus.
It’s important to note that Epic Games hasn’t confirmed any of this. This, however, comes as no surprise, as the Fortnite creator rarely reveals details about upcoming seasons. Many Fortnite leakers, including Hypex, have been right numerous times, but we will have to wait and see what Epic has prepared for Chapter 5 Season 2.
The current Fortnite season will end on March 8, with Season 2 coming right after it. If these rumors are true, the earthquake event will begin in the last two weeks of the season. However, it is unlikely that it will reveal a new location before the start of Season 2. The last earthquake event happened in Chapter 4 Season 2 and it brought the jungle biome.
With a Greek mythology theme, Epic could release all the mythological skins from the survey with the next Battle Pass. Furthermore, places like Mount Olympus and Troy could be new landmarks on the island. With these rumors, it certainly sounds like Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has a lot of potential, but we’ll have to wait for Epic’s confirmation.
With the release of Chapter 5 Season 2, the current Fortnite Battle Pass will end. This means that you won’t be able to unlock the skins from it ever again. Due to this, make sure to check out our list of the best Fortnite XP maps if you need a leveling boost. Not only will you unlock all the cosmetics with these maps, but you can also earn V-Bucks.
Finally, it’s important to note that the current season has many cosmetics you can obtain for free. Unfortunately, almost all free skins in Fortnite will expire once Chapter 5 Season 2 comes out. Considering that many of these skins may not come to the Item Shop, you should add them to your Fortnite locker as soon as possible.
