The influencer ex-wife of legendary football star Ricky Olarenshaw has been arrested in Bali for her alleged involvement in a spa accused of turning into an illegal brothel.

Sarnanitha Olarenshaw, who shares a daughter with the former Essendon premiership star, was arrested in a police raid at the Flame Spa massage parlor in Seminyak in late September.

Two receptionists, a manager and the spa director were also arrested.

Sarnanitha claims her ex-husband co-owned the spa.

Olarenshaw reportedly returned to Australia days before the attack, leaving his daughter alone in Indonesia, reported the Sun Herald.

It is not known whether Mr Olarenshaw was aware of any alleged illegal activity taking place inside the spa.

Daily Mail Australia does not suggest any wrongdoing on behalf of Mr Olarenshaw.

Senior Police Commissioner Jansen Avitus Panjaitan confirmed that three women were arrested during the operation.

“The three people are Flame Spa employees, a manager and two receptionists,” he said in a statement.

The case is still under investigation, butrostitution and sex work are highly illegal in Bali and are considered crimes against “decency and morality” on the island.

Panjaitan told journalists that the next step in the investigation would be to “immediately obtain legal certainty” about whether illegal activities were taking place at the spa.

Flames Spa's services range from $189 to $283 per session and their motto was: 'Our service is more than just a sensual massage, it's an erotic experience.'

“Our goal is to light your flame.”

Sarnanitha, who has 20,000 followers online, has denied the allegations against her.

In a statement released by her lawyer, she said she was worried that the daughter she shares with Mr Olarenshaw would be taken from her.

The couple separated earlier this year.

Ricky played 77 games for Essendon, starting in 1993, before spending two seasons at Collingwood, where he played just five games.

He then made one appearance for North Melbourne before announcing his retirement.

He has since moved to Bali, where he runs three F45 academies.

It turns out that two Australians were arrested in a similar operation for running a spa that allegedly offered prostitution.

Michael Le Grand, 50, and Lynley Le Grand, 44, both from Victoria, were arrested for their alleged involvement with the Pink Palace Spa.

They could face 12 years in prison if found guilty.
