The studio has also released a new trailer for Everspace 2, showing off the accolades recieved by the game for its console launch. Check out the new trailer below, which gives us a look at some gameplay while highlighting the critical reception of Everspace 2.
Everspace 2 was released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S back in August—just 4 months after the game’s original 1.0 release on PC back in April. The console release of Everspace 2 got the same updates that the PC version has seen since its release.
The game changes up the formula from its predecessor, Everspace, quite a bit. A major way the game differentiates itself from the original Everspace is by changing the entire structure of the game; rather than being a roguelike game, Everspace 2 instead focuses on having a large-scale open-world setting with a bigger emphasis on RPG mechanics, systems, and story.
