Epic Games is once again sending free items to Fortnite players. The game has had some problems over the past few weeks, which is why its developer has decided to compensate players affected by them. The latest batch of items was sent out on Friday, April 12, and you may receive it soon. In this article, we will explain everything you need to know about the free item, including the eligibility.
The current Fortnite season got off to a slow start. After a record-breaking server downtime at the launch of the season, many players dealt with Battle Pass issues. Fortunately, Epic fixed these problems while also granting extra rewards to players affected by them. You may have also received a free cosmetic item in Fortnite, so make sure to log in and check!
Epic sends another free cosmetic item to Fortnite players
Shortly after Epic Games released the v29.10 Fortnite update, the Battle Pass was partially broken. The update added Super Styles for Battle Pass skins, including the Titanflame Hades. Unfortunately, this skin was not available for a few weeks, even if you reached level 200. While the latest Fortnite update fixed it, Epic also decided to reward those who were affected by this glitch.
If you hit level 200 before the Titanflame Hades fix was implemented, you should receive the Poyzenn back bling for free. To check, you simply need to log in to Fortnite and see if you get a popup that shows the cosmetic item. In some rare cases, you may not receive a popup, which is why you should check your locker and manually reach for the Poyzenn item.
The new back bling is identical to the Treezy back bling, which was a reward from the Summer Escape event in 2023. The Custard style of Treezy looks exactly like Poyzenn, and it’s a perfect reward for those who missed the summer event. At the moment, there is no word if Poyzenn will come to Fortnite’s Item Shop at some point, although this is certainly a possibility.
