Ready for another round of building colonies in a post-apocalyptic world? Here, we’ll be covering the Endzone 2 early access release date so that you can start repopulating the planet as soon as possible.

There are plenty of different flavours of city simulators to choose from today, but the strategy game from Gentlymad Studios sets itself apart with its bleak setting. Instead of fortifying grand castles or building towards a futuristic metropolis, you’ll be scavenging the remnants of the old world and creating a community with survival as your top priority in this sequel to Endzone – A World Apart.

When does Endzone 2 come out?

The strategy game will enter early access on August 26, 2024. According to the game’s Steam page, the developer is currently looking at a 12-month period for development before an official release. Of course, this is still prone to change as Gentlymad Studios has also expressed being open to an even longer development period to make sure everything is in order for the game’s official launch.

During early access, you’ll be able to experience the game’s basic features with more being introduced over time. Content will be added and adjusted based on player feedback.

How to play early access

There are currently two ways of getting early access to the post-apocalyptic city simulator. You can either apply to join the playtest or pay for the early access version of the game when it comes out.

You can apply for a spot in the playtest by visiting the game’s Steam page and clicking on the Request Access button. This doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get early access, but you won’t be spending any of your money if you do.

If you’re fine with just paying for early access, you’ll have to wait until the 26th since Steam currently only shows the option to add the game to your wishlist.
