EA Sports FC 24 released their second batch of in-game retro kits today adding to the initial batch released on March 29, bringing the total number of throwback threads to 18. It’s interesting to see EA include 2022-23 RB Leipzig among their retro selections. Either way, check out the full list of retro kits below.
Released on March 29:
- 1981 Club Nacional de Football Club – As winners of the CONMEBOL Libertadores (1980) Club Nacional de Football qualified for the 1981 Intercontinental Cup and beat English side Nottingham Forest. Cementing this kit as one worn by the most successful club in the history of Uruguayan football.
- 1998-1999 PSG – This kit was worn by the Paris Saint-Germain side that won the Trophée des Champions in the final year of the club’s early golden era.
- 2015 NYCFC – This kit was donned by players during the club’s inaugural season, including European legends David Villa, Andrea Pirlo and Frank Lampard.
- 1983-1984 Juventus – In one of the most successful seasons in the club’s long history, the 1983-1984 Juventus team won the double, finishing top in Serie A and beating Porto in the European Cup final.
- 1975-1976 Borussia Dortmund – This iconic kit was worn for a historic season when Borussia finally earned promotion to the Bundesliga.
- 1974-1975 Atlético Madrid – Atlético Madrid were crowned Intercontinental Cup winners during the 1974/75 season, wearing their famous red and white striped kit.
- 1924 Sporting Clube de Portugal – This kit was worn by the winning team of Sporting Clube de Portugal’s 5th Campeonato de Lisboa title.
- 1986 Chelsea FC – Though Chelsea had only been promoted two seasons before, this kit saw them finish 6th in the league and win the Full Members’ Cup, the first edition of the tournament.
- 1995-1996 Liverpool FC – The 104th season in the club’s existence saw the rise of young talents Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman with record signing Stan Collymore joining from Nottingham Forest.
Released today:
- 1999-2000 AS Monaco – Led by the dynamic forward duo of Marco Simone and David Trezeguet, this kit was worn as AS Monaco won their seventh Ligue 1 championship.
- 2022-2023 RB Leipzig – This kit was worn during RB Leipzig’s winning 2022-2023 DFB Pokal run.
- 1996-1997 Fiorentina – Inspired by another wondrous season from goalscorer Gabriel Batistuta, this retro kit saw Fiorentina reach the semis of the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and win the Supercoppa Italia.
- 1904 Benfica – This kit was the first worn by Portuguese giant Benfica during the club’s inaugural season.
- 2004 FC Porto – This kit was worn during one of the most legendary football seasons of the modern era. Led by José Mourinho, FC Porto completed the double, winning both the Primeria Liga and Champions League.
- 2014 Real Madrid – Celebrating their 110th year as a club, Real Madrid went on to win the double in 2014, picking up the Copa del Rey and the clubs 10th UEFA Champions League title.
- 1999-2001 Manchester City – This iconic kit saw Manchester City promoted to the Premier League and was worn by current City player Erling Haalands father, Alf-Inge Haaland, during his time at the club
- 1995-1997 Tottenham – The striped purple kits were forever associated with a top form Teddy Sheringham.
