EA FC 24‘s Team of the Week 27 is now live, and while some big-name players are included, Kylian Mbappe and Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz are surprise absentees from the March 20 TOTW squad.
Ultimate Team’s TOTW is designed to celebrate the best performances from around the world, featuring players who starred for their clubs during the previous week’s round of fixtures. From goalscorers to goalkeepers, midfield maestros to defensive walls, the very best are featured in EA FC 24‘s Team of the Week.
That’s why this week’s squad is so surprising, as some of the weekend’s best showings have been overlooked. The headline absentee is PSG’s Kylian Mbappe, who despite scoring a hattrick against Montpellier on March 17 does not feature this week. Rodrigo Muniz can also feel excluded, as his two goals for Fulham against Tottenham Hotspur have not been recognized either.
Oddly, there are no players from arguably the weekend’s best match either, with no Manchester United or Liverpool players making an appearance in TOTW 27. Many expect Amad to appear after his 122nd-minute winner, but EA Sports has decided it wasn’t worthy of a spot.

This week’s big names include Robert Lewandowski, who starred in Barcelona’s 3-0 away win at Atletico Madrid, and Federico Valverde, who notched up three assists against Osasuna.
Jamal Musiala scored twice and assisted once against Darmstadt 98 to earn his place, while Viktor Gyokeres, who’s linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, got a hattrick and an assist in Sporting Lisbon’s 6-1 demolition of Boavista.
