Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero – Destruction Point (DP) cost for each character

One way Dragon Ball: Spark! Zero calculates a character's strength through the Destruction Points (DP) they determine “Cost” every warrior. When creating a team, you can spend a limited amount of DP on a group of iconic warriors to create a team. When building your squad, you'll need to take the character's DP into account to see if it will work with the other warriors you've recruited.

Typically, each character in the game has five basic stats – HP, attack, Ki, combo and special attack. While they don't always tell you the DP value of a fighter, a character with high stats will often have a high DP cost. You can check a specific character's stats by accessing the Encyclopedia menu, which lists the characters you've unlocked DB: Spark! Zero.

Calculate the values to create a team

While each character has a list of stats that go into more detail about their overall strengths, the DP is a simpler way to track a warrior's power levels. Every character in DB: Spark! Zero has a DP value between 1 and 10. These points represent how valuable a character is and how expensive it is to include him in any team you create.

Which characters are missing in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero (and why)

Dragon Ball: Spark! Zero has a gigantic roster, but six characters from the entire series are missing. Fortunately, future releases may include them.

The multiple forms and transformations of some characters can make it difficult to determine the DP cost of fighters with hidden potential. As a rule, fusions and the highest possible warrior transformations have the highest DP cost. For example, the Gogeta fusion form always has a high amount of DP, while the base form of Goku or Vegeta who create it does not.

When thinking about a character's possible DP value, the strongest fighters are usually tied to their strength in
Dragon Ball

canon. If a fighter is considered the strongest in the series, he will likely have a very high DP cost.

Even though DP is not the only explanation for how strong a person is, it determines how much space they occupy on the team. The most common DP limit for Online Ranked Battles is 15, but other modes may have different limits. Those who are confident in their abilities and have strong personalities may want a smaller team with expensive DP fighters, while others may want a balanced group of multiple characters with varying strengths.

Due to the large number of characters that can melt or transform DB: Spark! Zeroit would be best to choose characters with lower DP. By sacrificing the power of the enhanced transformation, the skill points you accumulate will allow you to later achieve an alternate form. For example, having Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rosé) is more expensive than Goku Black, who can transform into his Rosé state during battle.

Once you've assembled your team based on DP costs, don't forget that being strong doesn't guarantee victory. While a high DP cost character may have stronger skills than other fighters, a unit's destruction points (DP) mean nothing if you don't have the skills to make any character you play powerful enough to win Dragon Ball: Spark! Zero.
