It’s been a few years since year to year saves was dropped from the MLB The Show series. Debuting back in MLB The Show 15, players were able to continue their franchise and Road to the Show progress from their previous MLB The Show saves.
According to our boy Brian Mazique at Forbes, players shouldn’t expect it to come back anytime soon. Maintaining Y2Y saves was a difficult process and ran the risk of creating instability in other parts of the game. Of course that job gets even harder when the game is on multiple consoles.
The hype train for MLB The Show 24 is just around the corner as we typically get the cover athlete, release date and a few other goodies at the end of January or early February. As always, we’ll keep you up to date when news arrives.
