VTuber Dokibird reached the milestone of over 100k subscribers on YouTube despite only being at around 10k yesterday morning.
Dokibird is the indie identity of Selen Tatsuki whow as unceremoniously terminated by Nijisanji.
Twitter user @Grxit sardonically pointed out that now Dokibird will get to actually keep her YouTube play button. For context, Nijisanji allegedly takes the play buttons of their talents to show off.
Hey look at that.

Dokibird has received an outpouring of support from fans following her termination, with many attributing the behavior of Nijisanji for the termination and the events leading up to it which include:
- Taking down an animated music video Selen paid for out of pocket
- Punishing Selen for taking the initiative to organize a cross-regional gameplay event
- Forbidding Selen from awarding prizes in a fanart contest
- and more
Fans of Selen Tatsuki can find her now at Dokibird on her official Twitter and YouTube accounts. You can find Selen’s “Last Cup of Coffee” music video which Nijisanji doesn’t want you to see here.
