Every Class in Diablo 4 has some unique feature or mechanic that makes them stand out. Spiritborn are no exception to this system, and their unique feature is known as the Spirit Hall. This feature allows you to choose two of the main spirits to enhance your abilities and build.
Just like with the other classes, you will need to complete a special quest to unlock the Spirit Hall. This quest is known as “The Sacred Hunt”, and it involves overcoming a difficult beast that is terrorizing Sanctuary. Here is how you can find and complete this quest to empower your Spiritborn in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred.

Players who have questions about the length of Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion can find the answers that they seek in this guide.
How to Start the Sacred Hunt Quest
In order to unlock this quest, you must first get your Spiritborn character to Level 15. It doesn’t matter whether you skip the campaign or not. Upon reaching Level 15, you will automatically acquire “The Sacred Hunt”. The first step in this quest requires you to speak with Tarka the Emissary in Gea Kul, a town in Kehjistan.
The Sacred Hunt Walkthrough
After speaking with Tarka the Emissary, go north toward the purple outline north of Gea Kul. Examine the area and then speak to Tarka the Emissary again. From there, go south toward the purple icon on the map and speak with Ito. Once she is done talking, head south to meet up with Tarka again.
While you are heading there, examine the glowing tracks on the ground as you come across them. When you reach the water, use the interactable spots to jump across the small chunks of land to find Tarka. Once you talk to Tarka, follow him and examine more footprints and talk to him again.
Kill enemies that emerge from the portal until the bar fills up, and then go through the portal yourself. Tarka will join you on the other side of the portal. Once he activates the brazier, you will need to face it and use the “Help” emote to bring down the barrier. Interact with the tracks on the ground as you go.
While you are exploring, you will periodically come across the beast you are hunting. It will be invulnerable, but it will eventually retreat. Once this happens, it will occasionally show up and attack but will eventually retreat again once you’ve done enough damage to it.
As you progress further into the area, you will come across an open chamber where you will have to survive for one minute as wave after wave of enemies spawn. When the minute is over, speak with Tarka to proceed past the next barrier. This time, you will need to use the “Thanks” emote near the brazier.
Beyond this point, you will be ambushed by the beast again. Keep damaging it and it will move on. Keep moving through the corridors while dealing with anything that tries to block your path. Before long, it will be time to fight the boss for real.
How to Beat the Beast, Nature’s Wrath
Shortly after the fight begins, the Beast becomes invulnerable. At that time, you will need to approach one of the four columns and activate them. To break the shield, earn favor by killing five enemies. All the while, you will need to watch out for the constant AoE attack that the Beast will be using. Each column has a unique AoE attack, so you will need to keep a close eye on them to avoid getting hit.
Once you’ve killed enough enemies, all of your abilities will be replaced. Approach the boss and use this new ability to break the shield, allowing you to damage it once again. When the boss reaches 75%, this process will repeat with the next pillar. To beat this boss, you will have to activate all four pillars. When the Beast reaches 10% health, the spirits of its victims will appear and finish it off. Talk to Tarka to complete the quest and unlock the Spirit Hall.
