Following the successful release of the Season of Blood, the Diablo 4 community is now desperate for more news on the launch of the as-yet-unnamed but highly anticipated Season 3. This has led to some players directly asking the game’s development team for updates, especially since the current update is slated to end in a few weeks on January 23, 2024.
With the Diablo 4 Season 3 release date yet to be confirmed by Blizzard at the time of writing, some players are predictably itching to find out when the next Campfire Chat will be, as evidenced by one X (formerly Twitter) post from an eager fan. Fortunately, global community development director Adam Fletcher responded to the question, noting that there isn’t a date set for the next Campfire Chat yet, “but everyone will hear more about it in the coming weeks along with a stream date.”
Another person would then take the opportunity to ask whether Season 3 would be delayed, to which Fletcher responded with a resounding “Nope.” Though fan concern is understandable with only a few weeks left before its impending launch, the relatively smooth drops of both Season 1 and 2 should give the community peace of mind regarding the next update’s release.
The development team has also been highly receptive and communicative throughout the entire process, so any release-related issues that arise will undoubtedly be announced and addressed if they end up happening. Of course, all players can do now is wait until Blizzard decides to reveal more information regarding Season 3 and the next Campfire Chat.
