Is Bec Judd considering a move into politics?
THE AFL WAG and the Melbourne businesswoman raised eyebrows on Thursday night when she was spotted breaking bread with a crowd of Australia's powerful conservatives.
Sky News commentator Rita Panahi shared a series of photos of Judd, 41, and Liberal National Party senator Jacinda Nambijinba Price, an Indigenous voice in parliament last year when she crusaded against a figure national.
They were joined in happy snaps by PR guru James Radford (former PR for Western Australian mining magnate Gina Rinehart) and Melbourne Richlister Cathy Karnot.
“Thank you for being my dinner companions,” Jude said in an Instagram post.
Famous faces were among 375 who gathered for an event organized by the Institute of Public Affairs, a right-wing pressure group that campaigns for conservative economic and political policies.
Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott and former Donald Trump aide Mick Mulvaney attended.

The dinner was attended by Liberal Senator Jacinda Price, who made an impact on the national stage last year by campaigning against Indigenous Voice.
Judd has been increasingly outspoken on political matters since the Covid pandemic, when he criticized Melbourne's long lockdown and branded then-Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews a “dictator”.
In May 2022, he publicly clashed with Andrews over crime rates near his home suburb in the Bayside area of the city, saying the state government “didn't seem concerned”.
“Bayside is tired of gang rapes, beatings and home invasions,” he fumed. “We feel insecure.”
Andrews criticized Judd's attack and said he was not interested in arguing with him. And then he did, saying that independent crime statistics refuted his “comprehensive estimates of crime patterns.”
Judd continued to talk about this year's crime and justice issues, describing Melbourne as “woke, broken and violent”.

He recently slammed Andrews' successor, Jacinda Allen, for “remaining silent while we wonder if our homes will be invaded by gangs of knife-wielding youths while our children sleep.”
Victoria Police rejected Judds' claims, saying Bayside was one of the safest places in Melbourne and pointing to statistics showing it had the third-lowest crime rate in the city.
Judd has also worked in the fashion business as a model and television presenter. She has four children with her husband, former West Coast Eagles and Carlton captain Chris Judd.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Judd and IPA for comment.
