It has been 100 days since RisingWings, an independent studio of Krafton, released its genre-defying tower defence title, Defense Derby, and can only mean it is time to party. The November update brings with it a bevvy of activities to celebrate the milestone, as well as a treasure trove of goodies.
One big headline is the release of information for one of the three new heroes. Rake is a beast faction magic user who enhances allied damage against common monsters, helping you get those first clear bonuses. Her signature skill, Chain of Hatred, can incapacitate two enemies, preventing deployment and attacks. Rake will be followed by the Spirit hero Finesse in December, and Human Lana in January.
Rake arrives on the cusp of the latest beast unit, Pirate Monkey, which gets stronger the more Derby Chips you collect. The Pirate Monkey Mirror Match Derby Brawl is still around until November 14th, where each player will be using a beast deck with the named monster. Future events are inevitable, with future units on their way including the Blacksmith and Fiery Imp.
To celebrate 100 days of uptime, players will be able to get their hands on all three of these legendary heroes, in addition to a gift pack of 1,000 Gems, 1,000 Cubics, and a Cannon Master Emote. If you log in during the Hot Time Event by November 12th, you can also rack up to 150 Crystals or 500 Gems. Finally, take part in the Anniversary Check-in and Mission event through December 6th and grab yourself Legendary Unit Summons and the Scarlet Castle Skin set.
